SEO Account Manager

Due to continued growth Edge45® are looking for an SEO Account Manager to work in our beautiful central York office at The Guildhall to create and implement effective and innovative SEO strategies.

The Role

The successful candidate would be responsible for planning, managing and implementing SEO strategies tailored to each client’s needs and objectives. Enjoying working in an environment where you have the ability and confidence to shape the company culture and services is essential.

Responsibilities

• Act as the main day-to-day contact for your clients, and to manage the day-to-day relationship between them and Edge45®.
• Oversee successful implementation of SEO strategies that will be tailored to each client’s needs and objectives.
• Lead client meetings and own strategies and performance to get client buy in. Deliver a consistent and high quality Edge45® experience to clients.
• Prepare and deliver insightful summaries to clients to keep them up to speed with the performance of their campaign.
• Deliver technical audits and support with SEO migrations where needed
• Liaise with members of staff in other teams to ensure consistency across different strands of client campaigns.
• Proactively support SEO Executives
• Manage client budgets accordingly so they run operationally efficient while also adding value to the clients.

Skills and Experience Required

• 3 – 8 years’ experience, ideally Agency side
• Experience managing client budgets of £2-5k plus across a number of Sectors
• Experience using a broad range of SEO tools including but not limited to SEM RUSH, HREF’s, Screaming Frog, GA4.
• Experience using Data Studio reporting is advantageous and a clear understanding of how to measure SEO success
• Strong understanding of SEO fundamentals and regularly keeping up to date with industry related trends.
• Able to demonstrate where you have gone above and beyond for your clients
• A broad knowledge of effective SEO strategies
• Natural problem solver
• Organisation and time management skills
• Second to none communication skills with plenty of client communication experience
• Project management & delegation skills
• Experience with and thorough understanding of the elements that underpin a successful SEO campaign that increases organic search presence.
• You are a proactive self-starter
