2016 at Edge45®: Growth, success and relocation
When Colin Docherty started Edge45® back in April 2015, no one knew what the future would hold. We began with a focus on search engine optimisation (SEO), however thanks to a dynamic and reactive approach to digital marketing, we now offer a fully comprehensive suite of digital services from email marketing, to pay per click (PPC), to conversion rate optimisation (CRO).
Recently featured on Bdaily, an online news resource for UK businesses, Colin explains that, “My vision for Edge45® has always been to offer a complete online marketing service to our clients – SEO just isn’t a standalone service anymore – and as our team continues to grow and develop, so does our depth and range of expertise meaning that the value we can offer our clients is ever increasing”. These are the principles that underpin our constant growth as we experience unprecedented client base expansion with a tenfold uplift in revenue.
Within just a year from start-up, Edge45® was showing the local business community what an exciting and innovative digital marketing agency had emerged as we secured our place as a Hiscox’s Business Club winner. With the full use of Hiscox office space in central York we were poised for further expansion and growth, and that’s just what we have done!
Then, within 8 months it became apparent we had outgrown the shared space available to us at Hiscox.
Colin recently told the York Press that “thanks to the leg up we were given by Hiscox and the support of the wider York business community we have been able to secure some great clients”, but, it was time to move on to a new, private office space within ACollective on Pavement, York.
To enable us to continue to meet client demand, Edge45® successfully recruited two new team members in June this year; Chris Lee, our new Content and Outreach Director, and Michael Hayes, our expert for all things video, photographic and PR related. We are currently recruiting for several other roles; we assure our clients that our continued growth will in no way detract from the personal, creative and responsive service they rely on as we continue to put client best interests first.
